NoaNet is Washington state’s nonprofit broadband provider. We currently operate a reliable, open-access broadband network totaling more than 1,800 fiber miles across Washington providing high-speed connectivity to nearly 260,000 people in rural and underserved areas.
NoaNet is expanding this network through an infusion of $140 million in federal grants to reach more than 170 communities and 2,000 schools, hospitals, emergency responders, libraries, colleges and universities. This is a landmark opportunity to secure Washington’s economic future.
We are leading this effort on behalf of more than 50 public and private organizations including, public utility districts, ports, tribes, cities, counties and competitive carriers from across the state that have joined together to bring broadband to their communities. Universal broadband will make life more livable, businesses more productive, jobs more plentiful, and the Internet more accessible.
